  • If you are the user who requires help, enter your name and email-id to enter the chat. After your login, type your message and hit enter. You can also click the POST button to send your message. This also brings to your view the other party's message. In case you are placed in a Queue, you can leave a message which can be used to signal a prearranged chat in the future.Alternatively,he can email you with solutions to your problem.Lastly, be a good netizen - when you are done, logout gracefully to allow others a chance to be helped!
  • If you are the moderator, enter moderator as your name and your password in the email box to enter. You will have a different screen from the user with extra buttons for saving the transcript and to purge the conversation.Remember to purge the contents at the end of a session. This will allow the application to ring a bell when a visitor enters the chat.Look out for the number of Users who are lined up in the queue.Later you can view their messages for suitable follow-up action. When you purge,it resets the User counter. Type enter before you launch into a long sentence. The page will refresh every minute. This avoids a long sentence from getting chopped up. If the conversation needs to be preserved for subsequent use, enter a suitable name and then click save.
  • If you are the Administrator, use appropriate links to monitor the conversation.Enter superuser as the name along with your password to gain access.Your presence will not be indicated in the chat. But if you want to break into the conversation, you can type a message into the message box. This will indicate your presence, of course. You can purge the proceedings or save them if you so desire. You can close the browser at the end.
